1. Early Spring
- Feb 15 – Time To Lime – Balances pH and aids Nutrient Uptake. Apply 50 lbs. /1000 sq. ft. for ideal soil conditions.
- Feb 15 – Regal Green 21-4-21 with 3% Iron and Essential Micronutrients. Apply 6 lbs. /1000 sq. ft. for a strong healthy lawn all year.
- Mar 15 – Ferrous Sulfate** – Rejuvenates after winter weather. Apply 3 lbs. /1000 sq. ft. for added green-up and resilience.
2. Late Spring
- May 15 – Regal Green 21-4-21 with 3% Iron and Essential Micronutrients. Apply 6 lbs. /1000 sq. ft. for a strong healthy lawn all year.
3. Summer
- Jul 15 – Regal Green 21-4-21 with 3% Iron and Essential Micronutrients. Apply 4.5 lbs. /1000 sq. ft. for a strong healthy lawn all year.
4. Winter / Fall
- Sep 15 – Regal Green 21-4-21 with 3% Iron and Essential Micronutrients. Apply 6 lbs. /1000 sq. ft. for a strong healthy lawn all year.
- Oct 15 – Time To Lime – Balances pH and aids Nutrient Uptake. Apply 50 lbs. /1000 sq. ft. for ideal soil conditions.

Timing is approximate and depends on climate and soil conditions.
** Caution, if ferrous sulfate gets wet while in contact with concrete surfaces it will leave rust stains. To avoid this, apply to dry turf or foliage, then sweep ferrous sulfate off any concrete surfaces before watering in thoroughly. Keep away from pools, ponds and waterways unless you are using it intentionally for aquatic maintenance purposes. Consult package for complete instructions.

Compost Tea
Compost Tea is available from mid-April through mid-September, Friday-Sunday at our Prairie Road & Glenwood locations.
Applications:
Compost Tea is a living liquid and should be used within 12 hours after brewing. Use undiluted or diluted (up to 4 to 1). If using city water to dilute the Compost Tea let the water sit out for a couple of hours to evaporate the chlorine before mixing.

We recommend Ferrous Sulfate in the spring.
Question: Will Ferrous Sulfate harm my plants?
Answer: Ferrous Sulfate should be kept off the foliage of nearby plants as it will likely damage them.
Question: How do I properly apply it?
Answer: 4 pounds per 1,000 sq.ft. A 50lb bag will cover 12,500 sq.ft. Apply to a dry lawn, and sweep it off any surrounding concrete before watering in to avoid staining. Keep it out of pools and ponds. Ferrous Sulfate stores well if kept in a dry location. Using a Drop Spreader is good for application.
It also will nourish grasses and other types of plants, such as azaleas, rhododendrons, and blueberries.
