Recycling Yard Crew

Lane Forest Products owns and operates two recycling centers in Eugene and Springfield. We are seeking friendly and capable individuals at our Eugene location. The right candidate must enjoy working outdoors and being on their feet for full 8 – 10 hour shifts. This position assists customers with unloading yard debris, traffic control, and to assists in various production operations, all while maintaining a safe working environment.

This position will be working at our Eugene location at 2111 Prairie Road.

Qualifications and Skills

Successful candidates will be trained to operate a loader and in the use of other equipment.

Job Requirements: High school or GED Diploma Some basic job experience Be able to lift and pull 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday Have a pleasant disposition

CDL Class A or B Drivers

CDL Class A or B Drivers

Lane Forest Products is looking for Dump Truck, Blower Truck and Heavy Haul Semi Drivers with good mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a knack for providing excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A clean driving record with a Class A or B CDL and medical certification
  • Good working knowledge of the Lane County Area
  • Available to work a full-time schedule which can include Saturdays
  • Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ensure proper payment and complete required paperwork
  • Problem solve while at delivery site
  • Basic math skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide friendly customer service
  • Proficient in point of sale such as CounterPoint and Accurate cash handling
  • Maintain a clean work station
  • Clearly communicate pricing, product recommendations & company services
  • Operate Forklift and Front End Loader
  • A thorough knowledge of all of our products and services

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to calculate square/cubic footage and yardage
  • Working knowledge of inventory management including buying, appropriate in-stock levels and retail pricing preferred
  • Point of sale experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50lbs frequently during the day
Equipment Operator

Equipment Operator

Lane Forest Products is seeking an Equipment Operator to work in Roseburg after 1-2 months training in Eugene. The position includes operating a Large Loader and loading a variety of trucks, rail cars and equipment necessary to maintain efficient operations. Feed different type processing equipment, clean and maintain all equipment. Works with team to ensure safe, accurate and productive work environment. Must be able to work on Saturdays and travel to offsite work locations on occasion

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete mobile and stationary equipment maintenance as necessary
  • Clean up area and equipment at end of shift and as necessary
  • Operate Large Loader, Forklift, complete all associated training and reviews as necessary

POSSIBLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate Boom Lift/Aerial Platform Lifts
  • Operate Excavator
  • Operate Dozer

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 Years Large Loader Experience Required
  • Heavy equipment Experience Preferred
  • General knowledge of required maintenance of the equipment for safe operation preferred
