Basalt Wall Rock

Carved out of the hills of the Willamette valley, this inexpensive stone is the choice of many local landscapers and stone masons. The rough, blocky shapes are often worked to fit together into some of the nicest walls around. These walls, when built with skill, will stand for centuries.

Not a skilled mason? No problem. Many a “country wall” has been built by the novice. Stack it as it comes, or test your skills with a good stone chisel and you can build a wall to be proud of.
