Fresh Bark Dust
Fresh Bark Dust can be used as an ingredient in potting mixes, as well as a mulch around established plants.
Uses:
In residential and commercial landscapes as a soil acidifier to decrease the pH around acid loving plants i.e.: azaleas, blueberries, and rhododendrons. Helps control weeds when applied at 3-4” deep.
Application:
As a mulch apply 3″-4″ deep for new landscaped areas and 1″-2″ for coloring established beds. As seed cover apply 1/4” to 1/2” to cover seeds.

Douglas Fir Bark Screened at 1/4″ minus.
Old Bark Dust
Old Bark Dust has been aged and is ideal for covering freshly sewn grass seed. It can also be used as mulch around plants.
Uses:
In residential and commercial landscapes as a soil acidifier to decrease the pH around acid loving plants i.e.: azaleas, blueberries, and rhododendrons. As a grass seed cover to help retain moisture around newly sewn seeds. Helps control weeds when applied at 3-4” deep.
Application:
As a mulch apply 3″-4″ deep for new landscaped areas and 1″-2″ for coloring established beds. As seed cover apply 1/4” to 1/2” to cover seeds.
Specifications:
Aged Douglas Fir Bark Screened at 1/4″ minus (material size ranges from 1″ down to fines).
